About PDF Watermark

PDF Watermark overlays text or image watermarks onto PDF documents, marking ownership, confidentiality, or document status. Watermarks are widely used in business and legal document management — they prevent unauthorized copying and distribution, mark draft versions, and assert brand identity. This tool uses PDF-lib to process everything locally in your browser. Your PDF files are never uploaded to any server.

Supported Watermark Types

• Text watermark: Enter any text — "CONFIDENTIAL", "DRAFT", "COPYRIGHT", your company name, or a recipient's name for personalized tracking
• Image watermark: Upload a company logo, stamp image, or any graphic as the watermark

Adjustable Parameters

• Opacity: 0% (fully transparent, invisible) to 100% (fully opaque). Setting 20–40% typically makes the watermark visible without obscuring the original content
• Angle: Default is 45° diagonal. Can be adjusted to horizontal (0°) or any other angle
• Position and size: Control watermark placement on the page and font or image size

How to Use
